The senior room had some strange visitors to the classroom today.....with help from and sincere thanks to Ciarán from The Reptile Zoo in Kilkenny (well worth a visit if you are in the area!) and in conjunction with Midland Science. Ciarán introduced us to Nudge, Bowser and Bruce (not Springsteen, one hastens to add!!) Nudge is a carpet python, Bowser is a twelve year old alligator snapping turtle and Bruce is a blue-tongued skink. We had a fascinating afternoon learning about these amazing creatures. Lots of questions were answered very ably by Ciarán. Mrs. Denniston even plucked up the courage to get to grips with Nudge ........!
